I am Alex Adekunle. Nigerian. Technology entrepreneur, web developer, business strategist, and the guy who has been awake at two in the morning more times than is strictly reasonable, making something work that nobody had asked for yet.

Since 2011 I have been turning ideas, problems and half-formed opportunities into products, businesses and experiences. I founded Vavinix. I am building Aspire Trybe, OneArtPiece and The Receipt.

I build websites. I develop software. I build businesses. Mostly I am interested in what happens where technology meets ambition, because that is where things either take off or quietly fall apart, and both are worth watching closely.

02 — The way I think

Technology was neverthe destination.

I started with technology, but technology was never the destination. It was the tool.

I have worked across web development, software, digital strategy, SEO, Web3, automation and digital products. The deeper I went, the more obvious it became that the interesting problems are not technical at all. They are human, and humans are considerably harder to debug.

It goes wrong in the meeting where everyone agrees too quickly. Fast agreement usually means nobody has said what they actually want yet. The uncomfortable second conversation is the one that saves the project.

What fifteen years teaches you
  1. Step 01

    Idea

    Said out loud, still shapeless.

  2. Step 02

    Strategy

    The idea, given edges.

  3. Step 03

    Product

    Built, shipped, used.

  4. Step 04

    Business

Value without you standing over it.

Consistency beats intensity. Execution creates evidence. Technology should create leverage, not complexity. And your reputation is not what you say about yourself, it is the thing people expect from you before you arrive.

03 — How to work with me

Four ways in.One conversation first.

The portfolio livesthere, not here.

My commercial work runs through Vavinix. Clients in four countries, across property, retail, finance, remodeling, energy and civic technology. Design, development, branding, search, and staying on afterwards to keep the thing alive.

If you want to see the work rather than read about it, that is where to go.
